Shipping and Store Policy

For shipments within Canada we use Purolator or UPS and in some cases Canada Post Parcel Service.  Unless otherwise specified, shipment is by ground.

Depending on where the shipment is sent, shipping time after pickup from Custom Card may vary from one day to 7 days for the most remote locations. If you wish to ship express then different shipping charges may apply. Not all locations are serviced by express shipping. For custom printed items, such as pvc cards, lanyards and envelopes, please allow 10-15 business days for production on top of the shipping time.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR ONLINE ORDERS WE RESERVE OUR RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE UPS OR ANY OTHER CHOICE FOR ANOTHER MAJOR SHIPPER EVEN IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE UPS OR OTHER SHIPPER OPTION.  SUBJECT TO STOCK AVAILABILITY WE TRY TO SHIP WITHIN 2-3 DAY AND OFTEN THE NEXT DAY. TIMES MAY BE LONGER WHEN WE ARE OUT OF STOCK FOR A PARTICULAR ITEM. IN SUCH A CASE WE WILL NOTIFY YOU OF ANY DELAY ANTICIPATED.   We only ship to commercial addresses excluding PO boxes.  For web orders on printers, we will only ship to the billing address of the credit card used.  The shipping charge is dependent on the weight and the destination of the shipment.

RETURNS

Customer satisfaction is our goal so we have established return policies which we believe to be fair to the customer and to Custom Card Canada.

Defective Merchandise

If the product shipped is defective at the time of receipt please contact us immediately for a return authorization.  We will endeavor to replace the product as soon as possible. Some products may be subject to manufacturer’s warranty and may have to be returned directly to the manufacturer. We may according to our arrangements with the manufacturer ship a replacement product as soon as possible or assist in arranging a replacement product directly from the manufacturer. Please read all warranties carefully.

Defective products must be returned with any original packaging.

Returns That Are Unopened or Unused

If you have purchased the wrong item, you can return it within 15 days of delivery provided that the package is unopened, in original factory condition and is in original packing with instructions and any UPC codes intact. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20%. Please call us before returning any items described herein for a return authorization code. 

Returns That Have Been Opened or Used

We cannot accept most returns of products which have been opened or used except where we have sent the wrong item to you and you advise us within 15 days of receipt.  If the error is on our part then we will endeavor to replace the item with the correct item as soon as possible.  Under certain circumstances we may exercise discretion and accept the return of an item but such item must be undamaged, with original packing that has been opened and include all accessories shipped with the product including all written warranties. Such returns will be subject to a restocking charge. You will receive a credit once we have verified that the product is still fully functional.

Special Orders

In most cases special orders such as print orders or special orders of merchandise which we do not normally carry in stock, cannot be returned.  However, if the product is defective or errors have been made on our part, you can return the product for a full credit. It is very important that you scrutinize any artwork provided to us to ensure that the artwork is accurate.  Any proof provided to you have to be approved by you..

Cancellation of Orders

If you wish to cancel an order before shipping please advise us immediately. Cancelled orders may be subject to a restocking charge if prepared for shipping. An order may not be cancelled once shipped save and except for the reasons set out above.  Orders related to printed materials cannot be cancelled once production begins.  You may not be able to  cancel a special order (that is one that is not regularly stocked ) once we have placed the order with our own supplier and the order has been shipped to us or is in production.

General

Please ensure that any items being returned are properly addressed to Custom Card Canada.

Returns are at your risk until received by us so you may wish to consider insuring any returns.

Upon receipt of any returned products we will examine same and endeavor to process any refunds as soon as possible.  If you have paid by credit card, the refund will be by credit to the card provided.

Always contact us before returning any products to obtain a return authorization number.

Some returns may be subject to additional shipping charges as well as restocking charges.
